taper candles care
Trim the Wick: Before each use, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch to prevent excessive and uneven burning.
Avoid Drafts: Place your candles away from drafts or air currents to ensure an even burn and to prevent dripping.
Reposition if Needed: If you notice the candle burning unevenly, gently reposition it to ensure an even burn.
Extinguish Safely: Use a candle snuffer to extinguish your taper candles. Avoid blowing the flame forcefully, as this can cause hot wax to splatter.
Store: Store your beeswax taper candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
scented candle care
Trim the Wick: Before each use, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch to prevent smoking and ensure a clean, even burn.
Allow the Wax Pool to Reach the Edges: During the first burn, allow the wax pool to reach the edges of the container. This helps prevent tunneling and ensures an even burn in subsequent uses.
Burn in Sessions: Burn your fragrant container candle for 2-3 hours at a time, allowing the wax pool to liquefy completely across the surface. This maximizes the scent throw and prevents the candle from tunneling.
Keep the Wax Clean: Avoid burning your candle for more than 4 hours at a time to prevent excessive heat and soot buildup.
Position Away from Drafts: Place your candle away from drafts, vents, or air currents to prevent uneven burning and to maintain the scent throw.
Store: Store your scented candle in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve its scent.
reed diffuser care
Be Patient: It may take some time for the fragrance to fully permeate the room. Give the reeds a few hours to absorb the liquid and release the scent into the air.
Keep Away from Heat: Place your reed diffuser away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and drafts. Exposure to heat can cause the liquid to evaporate more quickly, reducing the lifespan of your diffuser.
Adjust the Number of Reeds: If you find the scent too strong, remove a few reeds from the diffuser. Conversely, if you want a stronger scent, add more reeds to the container.
